IFMAC & WOODMAC 2020 Reschedules to 14 to 17 October

Indonesia's largest trade exhibition for the furniture production industry, The International Furniture Manufacturing Components Exhibition and Woodworking Machinery Exhibition (IFMAC & WOODMAC), organized by PT Wahana Kemalaniaga Makmur (WAKENI) is being rescheduled to 14 to 17 October 2020 at Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran. Earlier planned for the 23 to 26 September 2020 at the same venue, this postponement rises from the current covid-19 pandemic situation that requires extensive implementation of social distancing regulations by businesses for general public safety across Indonesia.

"Following increased actions by Indonesia's Ministry of Health to contain the pandemic, we are mirroring the government's steps in making preventive plans that would prioritize the safety of our exhibitors, visitors and everyone that will be contributing to the exhibition happening in due course," said Mrs Rini Sumardi, Director of WAKENI.

Mrs Sumardi added that, "the health and wellbeing of everyone involved in IFMAC & WOODMAC is of utmost importance to us. We therefore have taken the necessary decision to postpone the exhibition, so as to better monitor the pandemic developments with regards to travel allowance and provide more time for logistical preparations to be made accordingly, especially to our exhibitors from abroad and those coming in from far ends of the country."
