IFMAC Drives Internationality of Indonesia’s Furniture Industry

Indonesia’s biggest trade event serving the furniture production industry, IFMAC – the International Furniture Manufacturing Components Exhibition has reached new heights for the 2019 edition with more companies exhibiting this year. Since collaboration with Deutsche Messe started earlier this year, International companies have swiftly taken up booth spaces to bring their latest technologies to spur Indonesia’s furniture industry development. For the 8 th edition happening from 9 to 12 October 2019 at the Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran - Indonesia, industry professionals will be treated to an expanded show floor and exhilarating on-site activities for a meaningful visit.

IFMAC 2019 will be led by a leagues of world players in the furniture manufacturing industry, namely Alpha Utama Mandiri, American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC), Ekamant Indonesia, SCM Group, and Global Timber Asia who have exhibited regularly at the exhibition since it started. This year, being under the LIGNA’s family of exhibitions serving the woodworking sector has attracted more European and other global companies to come explore the Indonesian market through IFMAC. IFMAC 2019 - The International Furniture Manufacturing Component Exhibition Delivering Quality Needs for Indonesia’s Rising Furniture Industry

IFMAC reached a new milestone as it now formally becomes a member of Deutsche Messe’s portfolio of ‘Woodworking Shows Worldwide’. From the 9-12 October 2019, IFMAC will inject ideas from market leaders and renowned brands to allow domestic companies to gain better production output and manufacturing performance by embracing new production machinery, equipment and products.

As Indonesia’s pioneering exhibition dedicated in bringing innovation and technology advancement to the country’s furniture sector, IFMAC features a comprehensive array of products including furnituremaking and woodworking machinery and associated materials and components, solutions for processing packaging, plastics, rubber and metals, CNC machining centres and machines for interior works, raw materials and components for furniture production, surface processing and coating machinery, decorative papers, membranes, films and adhesives and more.

Surabaya, 20 Agustus 2019 – Pameran International Furniture Manufacturing Components (IFMAC 2019) siap digelar selama 4 hari, yaitu dari tanggal 09 – 12 Oktober 2019, di Jakarta International Expo (JIEXPO) Kemayoran, Jakarta – Indonesia dengan tema ‘Quality Manufacturing Needs For Indonesia’s Rising Furniture Industry’.

Indonesia’s premium furniture industry event, IFMAC will once again deliver an inspiring platform to motivate furniture industry players with new technologies, solutions and innovations this year. Yearly Success mirroring Industry’s Growth

IFMAC will provide a conducive business platform for exhibiting companies to find the right partners that welcome their expertise. In 2018, 99% of exhibiting companies saw the exhibition’s importance for the industry, driving 97% to indicate that they may return for the next exhibition while 91% conveyed that they may recommend this exhibition to others. The exhibition’s successful performance was reflected in the high rate of exhibitors’ satisfaction where over 90% of exhibitors had feedback that they had arranged for sales follow-up with prospective buyers, met visitors who had intention to buy and had received direct interest on product displayed at exhibition. Overall, 96% of exhibitors had met with top management, business owners and decision makers on-site at IFMAC 2018.

Indonesia furniture players eye high technology investments at IFMAC &

Jakarta, 7 Oct, 2016 – The 5th International Furniture Manufacturing Components Exhibition (IFMAC) and Woodworking Machinery Exhibition (WOODMAC)strengthened its mark as Indonesia’s leading events for the industries, providing valuable new technologies from international manufacturers and brands. The exhibitions delivered 3 days of robust business interactions for all involved in uplifting Indonesia’s dynamic furniture manufacturing and woodworking sectors amidst its shift towards a technology-based industry. 
 
Showcasing their latest machinery and products, participation from 282 exhibiting companies from 23 countries unveiled new perspectives for local businesses to enhance their furniture manufacturing capabilities. Over 11.000 trade visitors got a first-hand look at various furniture and woodworking machinery, accessories, assembly tools and components, raw materials and solutions for interior works, adhesives, abrasive, paint, coatings and fitting needs. Apart from delivering a robust one-stop sourcing and information experience for visitors, the seminar entitled ‘Optimizing Productivity through Technology Implementation & Design’ augmented the exhibition to highlight issues on future design trends as well as opportunities for market players to optimize computer-automated systems and technologies to improve manufacturing processes.

Mr Abdul Sobur, Vice Chairman of the Association of Indonesian Furniture and Handicraft Industries (HIMKI) said that “IFMAC and WOODMAC meet the needs of information and technological advancement in Indonesia’s furniture components industry.
